Fall line is coming together

Well Karin and I found some much needed studio time today and got a lot of decisions made for our fall line which you will LOVE! We are doing your favorite profiles but infusing them with texture and cool new fabrics. We're also working on a few great "going - out- to dinner" kinda bags which have been missing from ourcool weather lineup.

GOOD NEWS We found out today that we are going to be able to stay for a WHOLE YEAR at the Cross Keys location, that means you will be able to come see us all the time yeeeeahhhhh. We'll be doing some construction and redecorating of the show room and our offices are going to move to the store so that we can work there while we 'man' the shop.
Karin and I have been brainstorming and we think you are gonna love the fun ideas we have for the store, it's still in the planning stage, but you will all be happily surprised.

Welcome to The Bosom Buddy Bags Blog June 4 2007

Greetings all BBB's. Welcome to our new blog. We thought this could be a fun way to share news about our ever evolving company, our store and our new products.
Karin and I have had a WONDERFUL Spring at the Cross Keys location but it's time to fold up shop for the summer and head up North to do shows and take much needed vacations. However, don't think we're sitting in the sun getting all wrinkely!, We're actually meeting with a new plating company, finding a new caster for our metal buckle repoductions, meeting Alex to discuss our sterling silver jewelry for handbags..shopping the Atlanta and New York Markets for fab new stuff for the store, clearing out the old falls road studio, undertaking construction at the Cross Keys Store.umm ahem, did I say we were going on VACATION!!!???? i think we'll fit that in between 12-2 on Tuesday July 3rd hahahahahahah

We have so much going on that we can't figure out how to fit it all in and SOOO much to look forward to for fall at the Store.

On a personal note: family news- Emily who was part of BBB for 2 years has officially moved to NYC to embark on her career as a Graphic Designer. Emily cut her teeth with us designing our website and all our production materials. She was also our leg model in many of our postcards, ads and mailings.

Lizzie Stieff graduated from Syracuse in May having majored in Retail Management. She will join the BBB team in Fall to run the store and provide a fresh young eye to our buying.

Congratulations to Caroline Chriss who will graduate from Middle School this week!!!! Our little girl is going off to Upper School!! Just cannot believe how fast time is flying by. She is our expert in what is happening now in gift giving for the 11-18 year set. Her input is is keeping us current, thank goodness.

More this week on what to look for this fall. See ya soon. Love A
